Who Am I?
Karen Handelsman Moore, Principal
I am a compliance and privacy professional with more than 20 years experience in building, maturing and operating compliance programs in multinational companies and organizations.
I apply creative approaches to complex compliance challenges, with a soup-to-nuts understanding of compliance programs, from risk assessment to program evaluation. My advisory services are available to a range of individuals, groups and organizations.

Review new market entry compliance strategy, including targeted risk assessment and culture-specific opportunities
Support revamp of company code of conduct and policies – look and feel, content, accessibility, and attestation
Facilitate compliance leadership workshop to develop detailed three-year program maturity plan
Develop in-house tool to assess and train middle managers on handling concerns raised by team members
Present to board audit committee on emerging issues, recent developments and oversight obligations
Collaborate with outside counsel team on program evaluation against DoJ guidance and ISO standards
Advise private equity firm on compliance due diligence for target investments
